The PyroPure® Cycle - Conceptual Detail

Waste is loaded into the chamber up to a predetermined level.

Lid closes and heating cycle begins. Chamber temperature increased to 600-650°.

In the first phase, thermal decomposition occurs in the absence of oxygen. The waste is reduced to small charred lumps.

Once the primary heating phase has completed, air is injected at high temperature into the chamber to aid combustion and further reduce the char to fine ash. Gaseous emissions are purified via the filtration.

Finally steam injection cleans and sterilizes the system and flushes the ash out through to the foul water system.

The cycle is then complete. Any incompatible product left in the chamber is removed every approx.10 cycles via the access drawer (sensor indicates when drawer is full). The system is now ready for its next cycle.
